54th Annual Ozark Christmas Parade

Where: The Historic Downtown Square, Ozark

When: Saturday, November 17, 2018 – 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Cost: FREE!

Tomorrow evening hundreds of people will line the streets to celebrate this highly anticipated and beloved holiday tradition! This parade is one of the biggest and longest running events to be held in Ozark! The night will be full of floats, entertainment, and the magic of Christmas! Come on down to the square between 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. to get your picture taken with Santa and enjoy live Christmas music! The parade route will be closing starting at 5:00 p.m. and the parade should kick off at 5:30 p.m. arriving on the square around 5:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. It’s the most wonderful time of the year and this is something everyone will enjoy!

11th Annual Ozark Craft Festival

Where: Ozark Community Center, 1530 W. Jackson St, Ozark

When: Friday, November 16, 2018 – 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. / Saturday, November 17, 2018 – 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Cost: FREE!

The Cosmopolitan Club of Ozark is hosting this year’s Ozark Craft Festival! This annual festival helps raise funds for children’s charities in Christian County. There will be a wide variety of hand crafted and homemade items that will make perfect gifts for Christmas or look great displayed in your own home! This event will feature 148 booths from local vendors offering many unique items for sale! Come on down to The OC to do some Christmas shopping and support small businesses and local charities! Elf Jr. The Musical

Where:  Ozark High School, 1350 W. Bluff Dr, Ozark

When: Friday, November 16, 2018 – 7:00 p.m.

Cost: $5.00 for Children / $7.00 for Adults – Check out more details HERE!

This program is based on the the hilarious Christmas movie about Buddy the Elf. Join the Ozark High School Musical Theatre Department in this great musical production that follows the many adventures of Buddy as he goes on a journey learning about himself and who he really is. There will also be an opportunity for pictures with Santa! Proceeds from this event will benefit Care To Learn – Ozark.

10th Annual Ozarks Beerfest

Where: Springfield Expo Center, 635 E. Saint Louis St, Springfield

When: Saturday, November 17, 2018 – 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This 21 and older event features some of the best brewers and distributors of beer from across the Midwest. Upon entering the doors at Beerfest, you will receive a tasting glass and be greeted with the sound of live music and the smell of great food. You will have the opportunity to sample all kinds of different beer while supporting Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Ozarks. So gather up your friends and plan on doing a little day drinking to support a good cause!


24th Annual Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk

Where: Springfield Expo Center, 635 E. Saint Louis, Springfield

When: Thursday, November 22, 2018 – 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

This 5k Run/Walk event is the largest Thanksgiving Day race in Missouri and the largest timed race in Springfield! Before you go spend the day stuffing yourself and taking your post-feast nap, burn off some of those calories you know you are going to consume and help support some great causes! Proceeds from this event benefit the Springfield-Greene County Park Board Youth Recreation Scholarship Fund and the Developmental Center of the Ozarks!
